We believe our readers deserve to know exactly where our information comes from, how it was corroborated, and how our editorial conclusions were formed.

Core Editorial Principles

• Primacy of Primary Records: We prioritize publicly accessible state documents—including the Gazette of India, Press Information Bureau (PIB) briefings, parliamentary debates, ministerial notifications, Reserve Bank of India statistical bulletins, and judicial orders—over unverified gossip or anonymous speculation.
• Transparent Attribution: We strictly distinguish original synthesis and editorial analysis from aggregated wire reporting. When reporting relies upon wire agencies (PTI, ANI, Reuters) or investigative work by fellow publications, we explicitly attribute and cite the original source.
• Headline Integrity: Headlines must accurately reflect the documented contents of the article. We reject misleading, hyperbolic, or deceitful clickbait designed solely to game social media algorithms.
• Separation of News and Opinion: Clear analytical perspective is welcomed, but empirical facts are never subordinated to partisan spin. Factual statements are supported by documentation; analytical opinions are clearly framed as such.
• Conflict of Interest Disclosures: Any commercial relationship, institutional sponsorship, or personal affiliation that could bear upon an editorial subject is prominently and proactively disclosed.
• Technological Transparency: Software automation and AI assistance do not replace verification. All automated drafts are checked against verified source datasets before public dissemination.
